Amphenol SGX Sensortech IR25 Infrared Dual Gas Sensors
Amphenol SGX Sensortech IR25 Infrared Dual Gas Sensors utilize the Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) principle to detect and monitor the presence of gases in portable and fixed mining systems. With an infrared source and specific filtering on the pyroelectric detectors mounted inside the optical/gas cavity, individual gases or types of gas can be identified and concentrations determined. The IR25 Sensors are suitable for reliable monitoring of gas levels where sensor size is restricted and requires a flameproof enclosure for hazardous environments. These sensors contain two active detector elements for simultaneously monitoring CO2 and Methan or Hydrocarbon mixtures. With housing the same size as some single gas sensors from the IR2xxx series, these sensors offer a more cost-effective option than two separate sensors.Features
