Analog Devices Inc. AD5423 Digital to Analog Converter

Analog Devices Inc. AD5423 Digital to Analog Converter operates with a power supply range from -33V minimum on AVSS to +33V maximum on AVDD1. AD5423 uses a versatile, 4-wire, serial peripheral interface (SPI) that operates at clock rates of up to 50MHz. The single-channel device is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, digital signal processor (DSP), and microcontroller interface standards. The interface also features an optional SPI cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and a watchdog timer (WDT).

Robustness for Analog Outputs in Process Control

Precision analog output modules, known as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or distributed control systems (DCS), produce voltage or current outputs used for accurate and robust control of actuators that manage process parameters such as flow, temperature, and pressure. These modules need to deliver robust, reliable, and precise outputs in harsh industrial environments.
