Analog Devices Inc. AD9554/PCBZ Evaluation Board

Analog Devices Inc. AD9554/PCBZ Evaluation Board helps designers evaluate the AD9554 multi-service adaptive quad-channel clock translator with clock multiplier. 

The AD9554/PCBZ Evaluation Board features a simple power connection using a 6V wall adapter, on-board switching & LDO voltage regulators, twelve AC-coupled SMA connectors for outputs (four differential, four single-ended); SMA connectors for two differential or four single-ended reference inputs & system clock input. Also included is on-board provisions for the TCXO, Crystal Oscillator or Crystal, a USB connection to a PC 32- or 64-Bit Microsoft Windows® based evaluation software with the simple graphical user interface, on-board PLL loop filter, easy access to digital I/O and diagnostic signals via I/O header, and status LEDs for diagnostic signals.

The AD9554/PCBZ has an operating supply voltage of 1.8V, operating supply current of 745mA, and frequency of 1000MHz. Designers can easily bypass regulators for power measurements. For example, designers can bypass the on-board LDO regulators to evaluate performance using the on-board switching regulator.
