APEM HR Friction Hold Proportional Output Thumbwheels

APEM HR Proportional Output Thumbwheels with Friction Hold allow ultra-precise movement while also letting the user hold the selection in a set position. APEM HR Friction Hold series uses a non-contacting Hall Effect sensor technology that is independent from the friction mechanism. This sensor technology provides a smooth and precise linear voltage output that does not degrade over time. APEM HR Thumbwheels with Friction Hold are ideal for use in applications featuring panel mount and joystick integration and for use in agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, and off-road vehicles. These APEM thumbwheels come in two versions. One version offers 11 detents along the travel (one at center and five on each side). The other version comes with a center detent with smooth movement on each side for a feel of friction hold without detents.
