Apex Microtechnology VRE304 +4.5V Low Noise Precision Voltage Reference is a low-cost, Zener-based precision voltage reference. The VRE304 provides ultrastable +4.5V output with ±0.45mV (.01%) initial accuracy. Accuracy improvement is possible by a multipoint laser compensation technique. Other improvements include performance parameters, like warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability. This makes this series ideal for upgrading systems that use lower performance references. Temperature coefficients are as low as 0.6ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) temperature range. This VRE is recommended for use as a reference for 14-, 16-, or 18-bit D/A converters which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factor on high-resolution A/D converters.
