Broadcom APDS-9250 Digital RGB IR and Ambient Light Sensor

Broadcom APDS-9250 Digital RGB IR and Ambient Light Sensor uses four channels of red, green, blue, and IR (RGB+IR). These channels are specially designed in a matrix arrangement for optimal angular response and accurate RGB spectral response. The APDS-9250 has high lux accuracy over various light sources and high sensitivity in low lux conditions, making it ideal for operation behind dark glass. The Broadcom APDS-9250 supports an I2C fast-mode compatible interface of up to 400kHz. The sensor has a programmable interrupt controller that frees up microcontroller resources.
